Ruskova Is Genuine Russian Vodka Too
“Pay For The Vodka, Not The Glass
Russian
entrepreneur Oleg Lazanovitch, owner of
Ruskova Genuine Russian Vodka
is thrilled that Russian Billionaire Roustam
Tariko is "drawing a line between brands
that are truly Russian and those that are
not." Tariko said in a recently published
article in Just Drinks that "American
consumers want the real thing and that's
what Russian Standard Original is."
Lazanovitch,
borrowing a page from noted winemaker Fred
Franzia, is challenging all of the imported
Vodkas in fancy bottles by claiming that
his Value Priced (retail under $20.00 for
a 1.75L), Six Times Distilled Ruskova, can
stand toe to toe with all of the fancy imports
that retail for two to three times the retail
price of Ruskova. Oleg has coined the phrase,
"Pay for the Vodka, Not the Glass"
to promote Ruskova.
Produced
and Bottled in a State of the Art Distillery
in Nizhny Novgorod, Ruskova has already
been awarded a 90, Gold Medal, Best Buy
by the Beverage Testing Institute. "Roustam
is right on by saying that American Consumers
want the real thing" said Lazanovitch,
"but I will take that one step further
by saying that American Consumers still
recognize a great value and that's what
Ruskova is." Ruskova's retail pricing
at under $20.00 for a 1.75L actually competes
with some domestically produced Vodkas.
Lazanovitch
went on to say that you won't see Ruskova
advertised in Magazines or on Billboards
but quickly pointed out that his premise
that Americans are quick to recognize a
great value is already being proven by the
rapidly growing sales in Florida and Georgia,
the first two markets to begin selling Ruskova.
"We
are already out-selling many Vodka brands
that have been in those markets for a long
time and retail scan data shows us growing
at a really fast pace," said Lazanovitch.
"We
are about to roll out nationally with a
beautiful new package but our quality and
value pricing will remain exactly as it
has been," said Lazanovitch. Major
Distributors in Massachusetts, Rhode Island,
New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, New
Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Illinois, Colorado,
Oklahoma, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota,
Missouri, Michigan, and South Carolina have
already placed substantial orders for the
new package which should be hitting retail
shelves in August and September.
"In
these times of gas prices being well over
$3.00 per gallon I'm not the only entrepreneur
offering the American Consumer a true value,"
points out Lazanovitch.
"Fred
Franzia is doing it with his Two Buck Chuck
and Four Buck Fred, and in the Sneaker Industry
Stephon Marbury is out there with his Starbury
Brand Sneaker challenging all of the big
Sneaker manufacturers with his shoes which
retail for under $20.00 a pair."
